Richard Pound

Richard established Cresta Capital in 2000.

Richard has over 20 years experience in financial markets having worked at Morgan Grenfell - Deutsche Bank NY between 1992 -1997 on the institutional equity sales division primarily advising hedge funds on emerging market instruments.

Between 1990 and 1992 he worked at the Mexican bank, Banamex-Accival, where he was responsible for advising and liaising with the US institutional client base.

Richard began his career working for the Wallenberg family as an analyst covering European equities.Richard holds a BA in Politics and Economics from the University of East Anglia.

Mark Nixon

Mark joined Cresta Capital from Merrill Lynch / Bank of America in June 2011.

Mark left Warwick University in 1983 with a BSc in Management Science, he joined Tenneco Europe Inc. as the Business Analyst.

In 1986 he began his career at Smith New Court in UK Regional Equity Sales, SNC was acquired by Merrill Lynch in 1995 when he became Director of EMEA Regional Equity Sales.

In 2006 Mark joined the Global Wealth Management division where he was responsible for managing the Institutional Client Group, the Family Office and the Middle East offshore businesses

Nick Broad

Nick joined Cresta Capital in September 2017. He has over 25 years’ experience of building close relationships with a wide variety of investors.

Nick began his career at UBS Phillips & Drew’s UK equity operation before moving into Pan-European market coverage. In this context he then moved across to SBC Warburg to service Continental European investors in 1997, before SBC merged with UBS in 1998.

He then joined Bear Stearns’ UK office in 2001 to help grow initially the German and subsequently the London client business, before working at HSBC Global Markets from 2008 and then Oriel Securities from 2014.

 

Nick holds a BA in Economics from the University of York.
